Assistant Facilities Manager

Package Description

The Role:

  • To support the central facilities department and take on an integral role within estates.
  • Provide daily responsibility for core facilities functions, including maintenance of buildings, energy, cleaning, security, waste and Health & Safety statutory compliance for premises.
  • Supporting and leading facilities related projects across a growing portfolio.
  • Creating and supporting operational policies, procedures and processes.

 

Skills and Experience 

Essential

  • Demonstrate experience looking after premises in a multisite environment 
  • Demonstrate appropriate management experience in an operational role  
  • Ability to manage multiple small - medium sized projects across the project lifecycle  
  • Demonstrate experience in managing Health and Safety compliance for different types of buildings. 

Desirable

  • Working in an operational role within a Health Care environment
  • Experience of implementing CAFM software 

 

Additional information

  • Ability to travel to sites across the UK
  • Ability to drive with access to transportation
  • Ability to work remotely when necessary
  • Ability to work unsociable hours when required
