Clinical Nurse Specialist Dermatology - Sefton

Job Introduction

The Role:

You will work closely with the community dermatology team, supporting patients to access effective and timely care. 
  • Will provide a first point of contact for patients within the community, You will be playing a key role in ensuring that the service runs smoothly and efficiently 
  • Working independently in prescribing clinics 
  • Working independently in Minor operations, Punch Biopsies, Curettage , Shave excisions, Simple Excisions, 
  • Ability to prioritise patient care whilst carrying out tasks of a Registered Nurse.
Our Dermatology service is run from sites across the community, with multi-room clinics that support MDT working. Telephone and video consultations are also part of our core offering, giving flexibility to our team to work from home.
All staff are provided with first in class IT equipment, with access to secure and stable patient administration systems that are user friendly, enabling our clinical team to focus on their clinical role, knowing they have all the tools they need.
