EAP Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner/Team Manager

The Role: What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced Team Manager to join our team. This role is remote and as part of the management team, you will support your team to make a tangible difference to people’s emotional health and wellbeing. The role is to support a 24/7-hour helpline and as such this role will require duty support outside of normal office hours and will include evening, weekend and bank holiday as the normal working pattern.

  • The Team Manager will work with the Service Lead to provide robust and clear leadership to Step 2 team.
  • The Team Manager will provide case management supervision in their team and line management to everyone in their team.
  • The Team Manager will deliver clinical skills training to trainee PWPs.
  • They will liaise closely with Vita Health Group clinical supervisors who also deliver case management supervision, clinical skills training, work on service developments etc.
  • They will carry out clinical work with an adjusted caseload.
  • They will lead on the development of good practice and systems within the PWP team and will work closely with colleagues in Vita Health Group to ensure that high quality clinical services are delivered by PWPs in accordance with NICE recommendations; best practice guidance; and Vita Health Group clinical governance frameworks.

Your skills and background:

Essential:

  • Qualification from Low Intensity IAPT Course (PG cert)
  •  Experience of working effectively with people with mental health problems, specifically anxiety and depression
  • Experience of joint work and multi-agency and partnership working
  • Experience of managing risk

Desirable:

  • Graduate degree in Psychology achieving 2:1 minimum
  • Supervision Qualification
  • Experience of people management or supervising others
  • Experience in managing projects or services
