EAP Service Manager - Helpline

Location: Remote

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Duration: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm

   

The Role:

Are you an experienced Service Delivery Manager looking for a role that will make a real difference to the mental health of others? If so, we may have the perfect role for you.

  • This is a remote role working for a fast-growing market leader in Employee Assistance Provision and low intensity mental health interventions. At Vita Health Group you will work as part of a highly experienced, supportive, multidisciplinary team within our Corporate division and have opportunities to undertake enhanced responsibilities for career progression.   • As Helpline Service Delivery Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of all people, operational and clinical elements of the Employee Assistance Programme suite of services, including a 24/7 Helpline, delivery of interventions and additional corporate wellbeing products. The service itself has gone from strength to strength over the last 12 months and you will be joining us at a key time to build on this and move the service forward.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • The management of EAP delivery within the service
  • Staff management
  • Training and continuing development

 

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or above in health and social care or related field OR
  • Significant experience working in mental health and/or employment within related fields
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Well-developed experience of working with a wide range of psychological problems within a therapeutic model
  • Experience of capacity management
  • Experience of supervising people and resource allocation
  • Experience in providing training/ overseeing students
  • Experience in line management and supervision of clinical staff
  • Experience of working within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural settings
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required

Desirable:

  • Accreditation membership of BABCP, UKCP, BACP or BPS 
  • Mental Health Professional with a core profession (HCPC/NMC)
  • Experience of teaching and training in therapeutic theory and skills to other professional and non-professional groups
  • Supervision Qualification
