EAP Team Manager
Vita Health Group are currently recruiting for an exciting new position for a EAP Team Manager. The focus of this role is the operational and clinical management of a team of helpline counsellors, supporting them to achieve fantastic outcomes for our clients whilst delivering operational excellence for the business. This is a great opportunity to take on a varied role with responsibility for the day-to-day management of our helpline team and achievement of our “Every Client, Every Time” initiative, ensuring that our clients reach the support they need, as quickly as possible.
The role also involves planning and delivery of process changes, updates and contributing to our continuous improvement and transformation plans. The new role will also have key responsibilities within projects that support our skills mixing agenda, including the introduction of newly qualified Graduate Counsellors and Assistant Psychologists.
This is a fantastic chance for an experienced Counsellor, Senior Counsellor or Team Manager to use their existing skills to develop their career in a new direction and fulfil a pivotal role in the service.
Working closely with Service Managers, along with Clinical and Operational Leads, the post holder will have the opportunity to help develop and shape our future workforce, aiming to sustain high quality service provision. You will also be involved with wellbeing, welfare and performance initiatives, which endeavour to increase retention of a skilled and talented team across the service and keeping our clients and customers at the centre of what we do.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Level 4 qualification in counselling OR equivalent
- Registered Membership of relevant regulating body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, BCP, NCS, HCPC, ACAT, BABCP etc.)
- Previous line management experience
- An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
Desirable:
- Accredited membership of BACP or nationally recognised equivalent
- Experience of managing staff in a clinical setting
- Experience of using data to manage team performance
This is a full time role with a set shift pattern. You will be able to select one of the shifts below which include Saturday working.
Option 1: Tuesday - Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
Option 2: Wednesday - Friday 8:00am-6:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-5:00pm
