Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager (Remote)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Vita Health Group Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team. The teams work is focussed on identifying areas of inequality of opportunity or experience, and then subsequently supporting the wider business in putting measures in place to address them. In addition to this there is a focus on ensuring the organisation is as diverse as the population it serves and work environments are inclusive so all colleagues have a sense of belonging. The team also contribute to activities that have a positive impact on the accessibility of our services and patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will first and foremost be passionate about Equality Diversity and Inclusion, with an excellent understanding of best practice in the area and relevant work experience. This includes holding an understanding of key NHS equality measures such as EDS2, WRES and WDES and key issues around health inequalities. You will have experience leading teams, developing strategy, delivering projects and working with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will be excited by the opportunity to lead on impactful and challenging work, as part of an increasingly important agenda within a growing organisation.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years - experience working within EDI or HR
  • Line management experience
  • Experience / Understanding of EDS2, WDES and WRES
  • Ability to travel to either our London, Bury Saint Edmunds or Loughborough office twice a month
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

Desirable:

  • EDI qualification
  • Project management qualification
