High Intensity Therapist Nottinghamshire or Remote

Vita Health Group and Insight IAPT are delighted to be launching a new clinical partnership, bringing together over 40 years of mental health experience, to support individuals and communities across Nottinghamshire. We are looking for pioneering, skilled clinicians to join us on this exciting journey and play a central role in shaping the delivery of NHS Talking Therapies across the region.

As an IAPT partnership, we are looking for qualified High Intensity Therapists, who can bring their knowledge, skills and passion for patient care to this dynamic service. Working within a stepped care model, you will deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions to clients presenting with mild to moderate mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression.

Making People Better

Here at Vita, our commitment to making people better underpins everything we do. As a High Intensity Therapist, you have a central role to play in delivering that mission across Nottinghamshire.

Using your clinical expertise, you will formulate, implement, and evaluate evidence-based therapy programmes for your clients, through individual sessions and group work. Where needed, you will work closely with colleagues at Steps 2 and 4, and external services to manage appropriate step up or step down, at all times maintaining and advocating for patient dignity, confidentiality and inclusivity. You will carry out clinical audits of service performance and user experience and contribute valuable insights to support continuous service improvement.

We really do practice what we preach here at Vita, with a company-wide focus on staff wellbeing, a flexible and creative approach to work and a real culture of openness and support. We love to see our colleagues thrive and achieve their personal goals, so we place a real emphasis on quality supervision, rich CPD and encouraging our PWPs to take on leadership roles and training opportunities.

Getting to Know You

Each therapist brings their own unique skills, experiences, and creativity to their practice. Alongside this, we are also looking for:

  • Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in High Intensity CBT (IAPT)
  • BABCP Accreditation
  • Experience working with people with common mental health problems
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

We happily welcome applications from newly qualified practitioners and are always keen to speak to therapists who are able to work locally within Nottingham City and South Nottinghamshire.

Please be aware that your application may be shared Insight IAPT as our clinical partner for this service.

Unable to work within the practice area? No problem! We also welcome applications from CBTs who wish to work remotely.

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we look forward to welcoming you to the team!
