LLR IAPT Administration Manager

The Role:

Are you looking for a managerial role that will really make a difference to lives?

Vita Health Group provides the IAPT service for the LLR (Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland) area. We offer a variety of short-term psychological therapies for conditions such as depression, anxiety throughout this region.

The core purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the NHS Administration team, which is at the heart of the service, through the provision of sound, timely and courteous administration services for NHS patients, referring GPs, healthcare professionals and CCG contacts. It encompasses a range of administrative, reporting and financial responsibilities that support the day to day operations of the business, as well as contributing to its ongoing development.

The post holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties to support the NHS service. Providing senior support and expert knowledge to the NHS Administration Team, they will oversee all administration processes to enable a high quality, effective patient focussed service to be delivered, utilising standard operating procedures to ensure achievement of all KPIs.

Skills and Experience:

Experience

  • Management experience is essential, within an NHS and/or Private healthcare environment is an advantage
  • Experience of working with and dealing with the public is essential
  • Experience of managing the performance of a team is essential
  • Experience of knowing how to motivate a team to regularly achieve business KPI’s and rewarding as appropriate

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Drive to learn quickly, especially in relation to internal IT applications
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach and able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • A hands on manager that is willing to assist the team is essential
  • A highly motivated and enthusiastic manager who is able to lead by example
  • Comfortable using judgment to take decisions on own initiative
  • Confident and credible with the ability to inspire confidence and lead staff
  • Positive and innovation approach to problem solving
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Some flexibility with shifts may be required to assist with cover due to staff absence
  • Willingness/ability to Travel as the administration team is situated across multiple sites
