Here at VitaMinds BNSSG, we are expanding our LTC Pathway to meet the needs of Persistent Physical Health Symptoms within the local area, and are looking for a dedicated, skilled clinician to join us in developing this service!
Getting to know Us
Hello! We are the VitaMinds BNSSG – we are the lead provider of IAPT services within the BNSSG Integrated Care footprint, providing vital mental health support to clients aged 16+ across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Our LTC Pathway aims to support those identifying with physical health conditions, who are seeking treatment for depression, anxiety and PTSD. We partner with local health care providers to deliver meaningful support to this client group and are always looking for ways to develop and expand the service.
Making People Better
As a specialist LTC CBT, you will provide dedicated treatment to clients who have had emotional impact from the onset or maintaining of symptoms associated with physical health conditions. You will provide specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions, working within NICE guidelines and professional clinical frameworks. You will play a central role in the development of the service, contributing valuable clinical insights and developing links with wider healthcare providers. You will role model a culture of reflective practice and participate in regular CPD to develop your own clinical skills.

Getting to know You
As a LTC CBT Therapist, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in High Intensity CBT
- BABCP accreditation
- IAPT LTC training or a willingness to attend this.
- An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
- Experience of applying CBT for those with physical health conditions, working within a Long-Term Conditions Pathway, and/or of using ACT or EMDR would also be desirable, but are not essential for this role.
