Mental Health Practitioner – Risk Lead

The Role:

  • You will be working as a newly created Risk Lead in a busy psychological therapies service (PTS), liaising directly with service users, members of the PTS team, GPs and other agencies.
  • You will ensure the effective operation of the PTS Duty Team, contribute to facilitating delivery of high quality risk management services.
  • Working closely with clinical staff you will ensure that decision making is informed by risk management advice and appropriate outcomes are achieved for patients.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • RMN, Mental Health Social Worker, Mental Health Occupational Therapist qualification
  • Current registration with NMC or HCPC
  •  Demonstrable post qualification experience in mental health.
  •  Experience of working with people with acute  and long-term mental health problems in a community setting.

 

  • Able to attend a Teams interview at the end of June

Desirable:

  • Accredited Membership of BACP, BABCP, UKCP, BCP or NCS.
  • Qualification in people management or other management or leadership qualification
  • Experience of delivering risk/ safeguarding supervision.
