Operational Team Manager - Corporate Talking Therapies
Job Introduction
Reporting to the Operational Lead, the Operational Team Manager will play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day operational management of our Corporate Talking Therapies service. This role is integral in ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services through effective coordination of staff, resources, and clinical best practices.
You will line manage a team of clinical therapists, providing regular management through monthly meetings, quarterly check-ins, and annual appraisals. A core part of your role will involve managing team performance, collaborating closely with senior clinicians, operational leaders, and clinical supervisors to support continuous professional development and uphold service standards.
You will take a lead role in the onboarding of new team members, support the interview process, and ensure a smooth induction experience. In addition, you will coordinate and communicate CPD training opportunities, and act as the liaison for team members who are off sick, maintaining communication with HR and other relevant departments.
Working closely with the Operational Lead, you will contribute to service and systems planning, helping shape and implement strategies that drive operational efficiency and excellence in care delivery. You will foster strong collaboration with clinical teams and internal departments, while also cultivating effective relationships with key external partners, including corporate and private medical insurance clients.

Skills and Experience:
Essential
- At least 2 years line management experience inclusive of Performance Monitoring and Management
- Capacity and Workforce Planning Experience
- Experience of working with customers/external stakeholders to include data reporting and outcomes
- Experience of change management and reviewing operational processes
