Podiatrist

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Podiatrist to join Vita Health Group at our Marlow clinic (SL7 1RR). This role offers flexibility and this role requires the assessment and treatment of patients within the clinic setting who qualify for Podiatry, and to determine clinical diagnosis and podiatry treatment indicated, and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner. Initially the role will be for 6 months but with a view to extend after this.

Commission is 35 - 50% dependent on experience.

You can join on an employee or self-employed contract and we are open to interviewing newly qualified applicants.

You will be responsible for carrying out MSK podiatry interventions in a face-to-face setting. You will be expected to deliver effective, evidence-based and patient centred care, with a focus on providing high levels of customer service.

Your skills and background:

Essential:

  • HCPC recognised Podiatry degree
  • Registration with all relevant statutory bodies including the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Previous experience in managing a varied caseload of patients
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Working knowledge of podiarty assessment and management
  • Demonstration of ongoing clinical development (CPD)
  • IT literate – Intermediate level

Desirable:

  • Experience working within the private sector
  • Evidence of attendance to external training
  • Previous experience in the delivery of group supervisions and ISTs
  • Further post graduate degree
