Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Leicester or Remote

The Role:

We are looking for qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join out IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service serving the population of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a new and innovative service delivery model with three local partners, Equality Action, The Bridge and the LGBTQIA+ Centre  We have full and part time opportunities available and welcome applications from locally based practitioners and also practitioners wanting to work with the service remotely.

As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner you’ll join our service providing a range of psychological therapies to our clients with common mental health disorders. You will deliver one-one therapies via phone, video all and face to face (if local), groups and via computerised CBT (CCBT). You will hold a full caseload and provide 20 hours of clinical time (pro-rata'd for part time practitioners).

Are you a passionate PWP, can you demonstrate?

  • A qualification in low intensity CBT practice
  • Experience of providing low intensity interventions for common mental health problems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • IT skills - Microsoft Office/Patient record systems

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Have completed PGCert in Low Intensity Interventions
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • We welcome newly qualified practitioners

Desirable:

  • Experience of facilitating groups
  • Experience of Computerised CBT packages (SilverCloud)
  • Experience of using IAPTUS patient record system
