Remote MSK Specialist Physiotherapist

The Role: What you will do?

This role is for an exciting new service that has recently launched for one of our largest customers. We are now providing an ‘enhanced’ triage service for patients seeking to see an Orthopaedic consultant, in order to ascertain whether this is an appropriate treatment pathway or whether the patient needs more guided rehabilitation either virtually or face to face, or a GP/A&E review. Working from home you will deliver virtual and telephonic MSK Physiotherapy assessment and treatment to support this new service.

We have a diverse team of Physiotherapists, working from all corners of the United Kingdom, who provide an invaluable service to our customers. As part of this role, you will receive comprehensive clinical support from our Clinical Lead and ESP Physiotherapist, including weekly case review sessions and enhanced training with our Orthopaedic team. You will also be supported at the start of your role with a clinical and administrative training package to ensure you feel confident for your new challenge.

Your skills and background:

Essential:

  • BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
  • Current HCPC and CSP memberships.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience within an MSK service
  • IT literate – intermediate level minimum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and motivation
  • Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

Desirable:

  • Additional health related degree
  • Occupational Health experience
  • Experience in remote physiotherapeutic delivery
  • MACP Membership
  • ACPOHE Membership or completion of ACPOHE Courses
  • IRMER Trained
