The Role:
- You will line manage a team of therapists as well as your own small caseload, providing virtual based therapy & case management of referrals to the Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).
- Your role will include assessing the patient's presenting condition, establishing suitability for level of treatment as per the “Stepped Model of Care”, with the aim of facilitating a patient to a sustained recovery.
- Supporting the services on call risk and clinical duty. You will contribute to reviewing & implementing new processes & protocols for safe and effective delivery of mental health services in line with NICE guidelines.
- Provide supervision to your team on a regular basis ensuring clinical quality and pathways are adhered to.
- Responsible for conducting monthly audits of staff notes, assessments reports and formulations.
- Supporting the interview process and taking a lead role when onboarding new hires to your team
- Coordinate and deliver CPD Training within the team.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Post graduate training in CBT or equivalent
- BABCP accreditation or eligibility for BABCP accreditation
- Demonstrable experience of working in psychological therapy setting as well as treating common mental health conditions.
- Evidence of risk assessment and routine clinical outcome monitoring
- Proficiency in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems is required.
- Able to demonstrate your experience of conducting supervision sessions with other CBT therapists
- Demonstrates high standards in written communication, able to write clear reports and letters to referrers
- A sound understanding of the principles of CBT and application across a broad range of mental health disorders
- Minimum of 5mb download internet speed at the home address
Desirable:
- Other recognisable therapy qualifications i.e. EMDR etc
- Management qualifications
- Have an occupational health focus: value being ensured to both occupational clients as well as to individuals
