Senior Cognitive Behavioral Therapist

We are continually growing our Corporate Psychological Therapies Service and are looking to attract the very best people from the widest talent pool. Our services take an innovative yet evidence-based approach, following IAPT & NICE guidelines to Making People Better  

The Role:

  • You will line manage a team of therapists as well as your own small caseload, providing virtual based therapy & case management of referrals to the Psychological Therapy Service (PTS).
  • Your role will include assessing the patients presenting condition, establishing suitability for level of treatment as per the “Stepped Model of Care”, with the aim of facilitating a patient to a sustained recovery.
  • Supporting the services on call risk and clinical duty. You will contribute to reviewing & implementing new processes & protocols for safe and effective delivery of mental health services in line with NICE guidelines.
  • Provide supervision to your team on a regular basis ensuring clinical quality and pathways are adhered to.
  • Responsible for conducting monthly audits of staff notes, assessments reports and formulations.
  • Supporting the interview process and taking a lead role when onboarding new hires to your team
  • Coordinate and deliver CPD Training within the team.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Post graduate training in CBT or equivalent
  • BABCP accreditation or eligibility for BABCP accreditation
  • Demonstrable experience of working in psychological therapy setting as well as treating common mental health conditions.
  • Evidence of risk assessment and routine clinical outcome monitoring
  • Proficiency in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems is required.
  • Able to demonstrate your experience of conducting supervision sessions with other CBT therapists
  • Demonstrates high standards in written communication, able to write clear reports and letters to referrers
  • A sound understanding of the principles of CBT and application across a broad range of mental health disorders
  • Minimum of 5mb download internet speed at the home address

Desirable:

  • Other recognisable therapy qualifications i.e. EMDR etc
  • Management qualifications
  • Have an occupational health focus: value being ensured to both occupational clients as well as to individuals
