Senior HR Advisor

Package Description

The role of Senior HR Advisor has been newly created to support the continued growth within our NHS Service and will work alongside a larger HR Team. One of the key responsibilities will be to lead on HR projects which will include providing responsive and customer focused HR advice and support.

You will have a good depth of HR experience and be confident in advising on HR processes and best practice in relation to TUPE processes, redundancies, employee relations, employment law, reward and remuneration.

Your skills and background:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable HR experience within an HR setting
  • Experience of managing formal processes including disciplinaries, grievances, capabilities, redundancies, TUPE and sickness management.
  • You will have experience of managing or participating in companywide projects in line with the HR strategy.
  • Ability to advise managers on a broad range of HR topics including conducting training and support session on specific HR processes and topics.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Broad understating of HR issues with the ability to resolve within a timely and effective manner.
  • A solid understanding of employment law and processes
  • Confident in producing and managing data to produce reports to help aid managers and HR processes.
  • Lead on well-being strategies across the NHS teams, and demonstrating a thorough understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion issues, and ensuring inclusive culture is embedded across the business.
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required.

Desirable:

  • HR experience within the healthcare sector
  • Experience of using HR systems/ databases
