Senior IT System Analyst
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for those interested in a Senior role with Vita Health Group’s NHS-based IT Team.
In this role, you will be at the centre of all present and future NHS initiatives, including the management and delivery of continual improvements to our existing services, and the mobilization and configuration of all future systems.
Remote with some expectation to travel (IT Away Days, Clinical Workshops, etc)
As a Senior IT Analyst, your responsibilities would include (but are not limited to):
- Leading on specific IT projects while being ready to be hands-on to offer configuration support (1st/2nd line) on key IT applications for the NHS IT team.
- Liaising and working alongside the team Junior (direct report), making time for training instances, ticket support, and personal development time.
- Communicate with stakeholders and service leads to understand new build requirements.
- Being a visible team lead, prioritizing by need and ready to offer hands-on support across key NHS IT application(s), including SystmOne, EMIS, PPS, e-RS, and other IT reporting tools.
- Liaising with our IT support partners to assist with support tickets, following a defined support processes.
- Regularly meeting with our data analysts to ensure that all new builds / changes can be reported upon effectively, and making changes to capture new NHS KPIs.
- Teamwork with the IT Team leads, junior colleagues, and Head of IT to offer other day-to-day support to enable / underpin business operation as needed / escalated or delegated to.
A successful applicant will:
- Be able to prioritise their own workload and deadlines.
- Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work across several different clinical systems, reconciling the needs of multiple different teams.
- Be able to oversee projects (ex., system mobilizations, improvement workshop pieces, etc.)
- Be able to provide advice and, if necessary, technical training to team leads and management.
