Step 2 Deputy Clinical Lead - Kent and Medway
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Leadership Team for Kent and Medway as a Step 2 Deputy Clinical Lead.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working within a Talking Therapies service.
This role is remote with the requirement of travel within Kent and Medway as needed. On some occasions other UK travel may be required.
You will work closely with Regional Clinical and Operational Leads to support the clinical delivery and operational effectiveness of the NHS Talking Therapies service.
You will be involved in the clinical governance of clinicians and will provide supervision to Low Intensity Therapists and trainees.
Interviews will take place week commencing 4th May and 11th May.
Your skills and background:
Essential:
- Post graduate diploma in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- BABCP/BPS accreditation
- IAPT/NHS TT Supervision qualification at Low Intensity
- Experience of working within an IAPT/NHS TT/Primary Care mental Health Service with a full range of mental health issues both from clinical and social perspective.
- An understanding of acute mental health/psychological assessments
- Experience of risk assessment and routine clinical outcome monitoring
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively technical and/or clinically sensitive information to people and their families
- Proficiency in IT skills including the use of Microsoft Office packages, databases and electronic record systems is required
- You will be required to have a minimum of 5mb download internet speed at the home address
- An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
Desirable:
- Experience of working within an IAPT-LTC service
- Completed LI LTC training
- Experience of clinical leadership and line managing clinical staff
- Experience of generating clinical policy and/or guidance.
- Experience of using data to inform clinical modelling
