Immunisation Nurse

Job Introduction

Spire Workplace Health is seeking an Immunisation Nurse to deliver vaccination services at the University of Worcester and client sites across the region. You must be a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a UK driving license. This permanent, part-time role (up to 30 hours per week) offers on-site training, professional development, and a range of benefits including Free GP appointments and cycle-to-work schemes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering immunisation and vaccination programmes for the University of Worcester and other client organisations.
  • Providing safe, effective and evidence-based vaccination services in line with professional standards and best practice.
  • Supporting clinical governance activities, including audits and quality assurance processes.
  • Maintaining and improving quality, safety and infection prevention standards.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in immunisation, vaccination and occupational health practice.
  • Contributing to service improvement and modernisation initiatives.
  • Supporting departmental accreditation and quality standards, including SEQOHS requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate and confidential patient record management in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Working in accordance with the NMC Code and all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Travelling to client sites across the UK to support immunisation clinics when required.

About You

We're looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse who is passionate about preventative healthcare and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Post- registration experience in Immunisations/Vaccinations/phlebotomy.
  • More than 2 years’ experience in a registered post.
  • Up to date BLS & anaphylaxis experience and knowledge.
  • Excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.
  • A strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and infection prevention.
  • The ability to work independently and manage clinics effectively.
  • Experience within Occupational Health (desirable).
  • A flexible approach and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
