Remote Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) – Central Team

At Vita, we're building a new central team of mental health professionals.

We are bringing together a talented team of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners with broad skills, flexible attitude and the ability to embrace change and test innovative working styles. All this, and with a laser-like focus on patient care.

Working remotely or from any of our hubs, and part of a close-knit unit, the central team will provide support to patients for the NHS districts we serve across the UK.

Is this for you?

You will provide low intensity CBT interventions to clients with common mental health disorders via telephone assessments, online webinars and computerised CBT (CCBT).

No day will be the same. Variety is important and you will assist patients suited to your experience and interests from all over the UK. You will also have the opportunity to support new projects, shape delivery of care and input ideas into our service.

We encourage an open and collaborative workplace where opportunities to shine are just around the corner.

What’s the deal?

We are looking for people who will embrace change and help us test the innovations we have planned. In recognition of this we are paying beyond normal NHS pay scales with the ability to qualify for further incentives.

We can offer excellent flexibility with part and full-time hours available, evening shifts and term-time only working.

You will receive support for professional development, ongoing supervision and a supportive environment focussed on wellbeing. As part of a large fast-growing healthcare organisation you will also have the opportunity to rapidly advance your career both clinically and into management and leadership.

About you.

We expect that you will have 2 years post graduate experience and a desire to deliver exceptional patient-centred care. Approved IAPT supervision training and experience of agile working would be an advantage. We would also like you to contribute ideas, energy and insight into how we shape the delivery of our service.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • PGDip in Low Intensity Interventions
  • Evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem and experience within IAPT
  • Experience of using Computerised CBT (CCBT)
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required

Desirable:

  • Psychology or other health related undergraduate degree
  • Psychology or other health related postgraduate degree
  • IAPT approved supervision training
