Service Manager Occupational Health

The Role:

  • The OH Service Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective operational delivery of the OH service within our Psychological Therapy Service which offers a range of psychotherapy interventions for both adults and children.
  • Responsible for day to day management of the PTS service and leadership to Team Managers including line management and non-clinical support to staff across the service
  • Strategic development of the service both internally and externally working collaboratively with the Account Management team on business development to optimise success, profitability and implementation of new business
  • Recruitment of new staff, objective setting and personal development and support as well as workforce planning and staff personnel functions (sickness reporting, staff welfare)

 

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience of capacity management and supervising people and resource allocation
  • Experience in line management and working within multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural settings
  • Experience of generating policy and procedural working practices
  • IT literate – intermediate level minimum
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of enthusiasm and motivation
  • Ability to work individually or within a team and foster good working relationships
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required

 

Desirable:

  • Leadership and Management qualifications (CMI/ILM or other recognised body)
